I agree with Vardaine. A player's turn is not over until s/he performs step 4 - Flip Activation Card (P7 in the rule). And Syndrael's ability says "Use during your turn to choose a hero within..." Since the player's turn is not yet over even after performing 2 actions, the description of the Heroic Feat allows him/her to play the feat.↧

I sent question to FFG and answer is:That’s a good questions. I can see how its not perfectly clear. The intent is that the rats, if they move into a pit space, would suffer the 2 damage and then move to the Pit Bottom, even though they wouldn’t normally suffer the damage.
Thanks for playing!

Q:Each time a figure enters a Pit space on the Old Bridge, it suffers 2 hearts as normal and then is removed from the map and placed in an empty space on the Pit Bottom.
As an action, while adjacent to a pit space on the Old Bridge, a figure may climb down the pit. lf it does, remove that figure from the map and place it in an empty space on the Pit Bottom.

Right, so getting to the bottom of this pit is pretty important for this quest, for the heroes and Rat Swarms alike. The quest allows for spending an action to climb down safety, but who has time for that? :p
However, Rat Swarms, being large monsters, have a difficult time falling into pit spaces:
Large monsters are only affected by pits if they end their movement and all spaces they occupy are pit spaces.
So my question is, when the rulebook says "end their movement", does it specifically mean that you are ending a movement action, or just that the ongoing movement is ended for any reason, such as an interrupt (which forces the monster to stop and expand)?
If it's the former, it means the Rat Swarm has to throw away any excess movement points after it reaches the pit, so that it can end it's movement action and fall into the pit (And the overlord might as well be spending the full action to climb down safely).
If it's the second, it means the Rat Swarm can spend a a movement point getting up to the pit, and the interrupt itself (with an attack or another movement action) to expand (expanding so that it's entirely in pit spaces), and thus fall down, saving the excess movement points for more running after the drop.
Does anybody know?

The Descent: Journeys in the Dark (Second Edition) – Road to Legend App has its own separate BGG entry, which does list the # of players as 1-4.The Original board game does play 2-5 players (1 Overlord, and 1-4 Hero players)

Another approach is to use the manuals to sort through all the components. FFG does a good, in general, with their component lists.↧

This D2e Expansion Info spreadsheet breaks down a lot of the stuff you're asking for, from the very useful links thread in the official forums. There's a few other things in there that might help you along as well.

RTL monster activiations:1a) Monster action:
"Engage the hero with the MOST search cards." - All four heroes have 0 (!) search cards.
1b) Monster action:
"Engage as many heroes as possible within 6 spaces". There are 0 heroes within 6 spaces.
Would this actions be skipped ? Does "most" and "as many" include zero ?
1a) In this case, the monster would engage the closest hero given that all heroes are tied at 0.
1b) Yes, the action would be skipped.
Most does include 0, but 0 does not count as “as many as possible.”
2) Monster action:
"Attack the hero within 3 spaces with the lowest speed". - The hero with the lowest speed is not in line of sight. Whould this action be skipped (and so perhaps no hero will be attacked) or whould another hero within 3 spaces and the second lowest speed be attacked ?
"Attack the hero within 3 spaces with the lowest speed". - The hero with the lowest speed is not in line of sight. Whould this action be skipped (and so perhaps no hero will be attacked) or whould another hero within 3 spaces and the second lowest speed be attacked ?
2) On page 10 of the RtL rulebook it reads, "When selecting a target for an action that requires line of sight, do not select targets that are not in line of sight—they are ignored and a different target is chosen. For example, if an action instructs a monster to attack the closest hero, but the closest hero is not in line of sight, the target that should be selected would be the next closest hero who is in line of sight.”

Also you can use the expansion symbols printed on the cards. Each of the rulebooks should say which symbol is which.
This only helps wiht cards ofc, but its a good start i guess.
For map tiles you can find a list of what numbers comes with what expansions online, I know I've seen a complete one, but with a quick search i were only able to find an older one which didn't include some of the newer expansions.
Then there is the tokens which is mostly universal, or goes with some of the hero/class cards you have already separated.
The figures should be easy enough once you have separated the monster and hero cards using the expansion symbols.

I'll lend my voice of agreement here. A turn progresses to the next step only when the previous step is complete. This happens only when a player has run out of things he can/wishes to do, or when it is forced by an effect (such as being defeated).Another good example of this is the process of an attack- the "roll dice step" doesn't end just because both plagers have rolled- it ends after both payers have decided they won't be using any more "after tolling dice" abilities.

Here I was thinking that this would finally be a question that wasn't covered by the CRRG. Nope! It's covered.

I think you mean 1-4 player game. Which was the whole point of the OP.
To properly describe this on the box and marketing material, however, you need to say something like:
1-5 Players*
*1-4 Players cooperatively (Our free app which runs on PCs, Macs, iOS, and Android is required for cooperative play.) 2-5 Players competitive play with one player taking on the role of the Overlord and doing battle against the other players.

To be fair, the CRRG does not include a list of each and every component of every box. Just the most important things. For a complete list seen Any2Cards fantastic work referenced above.
